- What does istism mean?
istism, the combination of the suffices ist and ism is meant to refer to the tendency to treat with prejudice people with prejudices. We're certainly not condoning any form of bigotry, merely commenting on the irony of what you might call sexistism, racistism and homophobism. Personally we believe that sameness is boring and that it's the differences that make the World interesting.
- Why are some shirts cheaper than others?
We've always objected to paying a lot of money to buy a shirt with some company's logo plastered all over it. The policy of istism.com is that any product that bears the istism logo/url is sold at a reduced price to reflect the fact that the buyer is acting as a billboard.

I'm as surprised as you are.
